Available withdrawal amount and locked funds

Why are there locked funds?

In order to prevent money laundering and abuse of promotions, after customers make a deposit, their funds will be locked and can only be unlocked through certain bets.

How to calculate the available amount and unlockable amount?

Two-Phase Fund Movement Summary

Phase 1: Lock Phase

When the wager requirement is greater than the locked funds, all funds are fully locked.

  • When winning: Locked funds increase, wager requirement decreases, and available balance remains at zero.

  • When losing: Locked funds decrease, wager requirement decreases, and available balance remains at zero. Once the wager requirement drops to be equal to or less than the locked funds, the system switches to the release phase.

Phase 2: Release Phase

When the wager requirement is less than or equal to the locked funds, the system enters the release phase.

  • When winning: Both the locked funds and wager requirement decrease. A portion of funds is released and becomes available balance.

  • When losing: Both the locked funds and wager requirement decrease. The available balance remains unchanged.

Available Balance

Phase 1 (Lock Phase)

Locked Funds += Net Win

Wager Requirement -= Valid Wager

Available = 0

Locked Funds -= Net Loss

Wager Requirement -= Valid Wager

Available = 0

Fully Locked

Phase 2 (Release Phase)

Locked Funds -= Valid Wager

Wager Requirement -= Valid Wager

Available = Original Locked Funds + Net Win − New Locked Funds

Locked Funds -= Valid Wager

Wager Requirement -= Valid Wager

Available unchanged

Partial Release

Wagering requirement decreases based on valid wagers.

Locked funds increases or decreases based on profit (if the bet wins) or valid wagers (if the bet loses), respectively.

EXAMPLE:

🔒 Phase 1: Lock Phase (Fully Locked)

Condition: Wagering Requirement > Locked Funds All funds are locked. Available balance is $0 and cannot be withdrawn.

Example 1: Winning During Lock Phase

  • Initial Status:

    • Locked Funds: $100

    • Wagering Requirement: $500

    • Available Balance: $0

  • The player places a $50 bet and wins $30 (net profit).

  • Result:

    • Locked Funds increase: $100 + $30 = $130

    • Wagering Requirement decreases: $500 − $30 = $470

    • Available Balance: $0

🔍 Note: Even though the player won, all funds remain locked. Nothing is available for withdrawal yet.

Example 2: Losing During Lock Phase

  • Initial Status (continued):

    • Locked Funds: $130

    • Wagering Requirement: $470

    • Available Balance: $0

  • The player places a $30 bet and loses.

  • Result:

    • Locked Funds decrease: $130 − $30 = $100

    • Wagering Requirement decreases: $470 − $30 = $440

    • Available Balance: $0

🔍 Note: The player lost the bet, so the locked amount and wagering requirement both decrease, but no funds are released yet.

🔓 Phase 2: Release Phase (Partial Unlock)

Condition: Wagering Requirement ≤ Locked Funds Extra locked funds (if any) are automatically released to the available balance.

Example 3: Winning During Release Phase

  • Initial Status:

    • Locked Funds: $100

    • Wagering Requirement: $100

    • Available Balance: $0 (Wagering Requirement ≤ Locked Funds → Enter Release Phase)

  • The player places a $20 bet and wins $30.

  • Preliminary Result:

    • Locked Funds temporarily increase: $100 + $30 = $130

    • Wagering Requirement decreases: $100 − $20 = $80

  • Automatic Release Logic:

    • Locked Funds cannot exceed Wagering Requirement → Adjusted to $80

    • Excess: $130 − $80 = $50 → Moved to Available Balance

  • Final Status:

    • Locked Funds: $80

    • Wagering Requirement: $80

    • Available Balance: $50

🔍 Note: Since the locked funds exceeded the remaining requirement, the extra $50 is released and becomes withdrawable.

Example 4: Losing During Release Phase

  • Initial Status (continued):

    • Locked Funds: $80

    • Wagering Requirement: $80

    • Available Balance: $50

  • The player places a $30 bet and loses.

  • Result:

    • Locked Funds decrease: $80 − $30 = $50

    • Wagering Requirement decreases: $80 − $30 = $50

    • Available Balance: $50 (unchanged)

🔍 Note: Losses reduce both locked funds and requirement, but available balance remains untouched.

Final Tip

  • Available Balance can be withdrawn at any time, while Locked Funds must be unlocked through valid wagers.
