Win/Loss Betting (Straight Bet)

Win/Loss Betting: This is a type of single bet where you simply choose a team to win the game, without considering the point spread. It's sometimes referred to as a "straight bet." Because win/loss betting doesn't involve a spread, its odds can vary significantly compared to spread betting.

Depending on a team's strength, you might see odds as low as -1000 (1/10). If two teams are viewed as evenly matched, the odds may be close to even (e.g., -110, including the bookmaker's cut).

For instance, the Falcons might have odds of -200 (favored), while the Cowboys might be +165 (underdog).

Note that some sports, like soccer and hockey, also offer three-way win/loss betting, allowing you to choose either team to win or a draw.
