Risk Control System

The risk control tab will only show certain tabs for customer service agents since this is mostly used by the fraud department to check on risky criteria for accounts.

As customer service agents, we will have access to the Member KYC tab, which comes handy if we need to inform a customer about why their KYC was rejected.

The first tab is the Pending one, where you will be able to see the pending accounts that have submitted their KYC for review, but have not been checked by the risk department. In the different columns you will be able to determine which is the level that is up for review.

By clicking on the Review button, the risk department member that is going to perform the investigation can see the pertinent information.

So for example, if level 2 for KYC is the one pending, it will be show as follows:

Risk team will review the information provided by the customer and make sure that the pictures submitted comply with the requirements and then proceed to either pass or fail the user submission.

If they fail, customer can upload the pictures again or submit the correct information to be reviewed again. We quote 48 hours for this review to be performed, but in truth, it is done quite faster than that, depending on the document and the country.

The second tab is the Processed one, and this means that it was either accepted or failed.

You can check here if a customer has failed the verification process, however, it is not always easy to understand why it was failed since no note can be left here. You can always check with the risk department for a reason or scratch the reasons you might already know.

For example, Mexican customers are required to fill the ID value field with their CURP, any other number will classify the verifications as failed. So, by clicking on View, you can check if the complied with this:
